Chelsea’s coach, Maurizio Sarri recently got questions about the Blues star, Eden Hazard, join Real Madrid, as the issue is often heard over the past few months. According to the Italian manager, the transfer will be difficult for now.
As we known, since the beginning of the summer transfer period this year, the Belgian national team midfielder has actually been linked with Real Madrid. In fact, the issue was increasingly loud after the Spanish La Liga giants abandoned their flagship mega star, Cristiano Ronaldo who decided to leave for Juventus.
After the end of the Belgian national team’s trip in the 2018 World Cup yesterday, Hazard later admitted that he might leave Chelsea this summer because he needed a new challenge. However, until the premier league transfer market closed, on Thursday 9 August, this transfer never materialized. Nevertheless, Hazard is considered still likely to join Los Blancos.
The coach, Maurizio Sarri thought the transfer was difficult and even impossible, because Chelsea could not release their important players when the competition was about to begin.
“I think it’s impossible. Impossible, because here [UK], the transfer market is closed already. We can’t release important players now, so it’s impossible, Hazard is with us. I have talked to him three or four times and never mentioned anything about the transfer. So I think he is very happy to be here. ”
“A new contract? I don’t want to discuss it. My job is only to take care of what’s on the field, not to deal with player contracts. But I see a player who looks very happy here, so it seems there is no problem about the contract,” said Sarri, as quoted by BBC Sports.
