Australian Team Lineup Ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup

The 21st FIFA World Cup tournament is going to start this year in Russia from 14 June 2018. This has already sent a ripple of feverish excitement amongst fans worldwide.

The 31st team to get selected for the tournament happens to be Australia that is set to face off France on 16 June 2018 in Kazan at 8PM on Australian Eastern Standard Time. The Socceroos team of Australia is in the Group C along with France, Denmark, and Peru.

How Australia fares worldwide?

Out of 14 qualifying campaigns, the team of Socceroos, Australia has been in the finals of 4. Bert Van Marwijk has been elected the coach of the team after Ange Postercoglou had quit last year. The mentor Ante Milicic is high on positivity since the team has the likes of Tim Cahill. After facing a massive defeat against France the last time, of 6-0, the team had undergone a great change. The then coach Holger Osieck was replaced by Ange Postercoglou.
